Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors, Prytula Foundation USA has delivered $10,151 worth of essential diagnostic equipment to the P.V. Voloshyn Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology in Kharkiv, helping strengthen access to timely medical care in one of Ukraine’s most vulnerable regions. Located in Kharkiv, a major city near the front line that continues to face Russian attacks, the Institute provides specialized medical care to adults and children, as well as rehabilitation services for military personnel and veterans. Each year, it treats more than 4,000 inpatients, serving as an important healthcare center for Kharkiv and the surrounding region. With healthcare facilities operating under immense pressure, access to reliable diagnostic equipment is essential for timely diagnosis, treatment decisions, and continuity of care. Through your support, we were able to respond to the Institute’s urgent needs by purchasing and delivering: BRAINTEST-24 — a 24-channel electroencephalography (EEG) system used to assess brain activity and support neurological diagnostics. Three ACUSON ultrasound transducers — linear, curved, and phased array probes that restore diagnostic capabilities to an existing ultrasound system, allowing the Institute to make full use of equipment already available. This contribution helps medical professionals conduct essential examinations locally, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the region for diagnostic services. The assistance is part of a broader cooperation between Prytula Foundation USA and the Institute, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening healthcare and supporting humanitarian initiatives.

Supporting children of Ukrainian service members and veterans This year, Prytula Foundation USA began a partnership with Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) through the Ukrainian Catholic University Foundation in the United States, becoming a donor to UCU’s scholarship program as part of our Education Initiative. Our $9,000 contribution was designated to support children of Ukrainian service members and veterans. Initially planned as two $4,500 scholarships, the funding ultimately covered the 2026–2027 academic year for three students. The recipients represent different fields and years of study and were selected through UCU’s established scholarship process. The selection committee considers academic performance, alignment with UCU’s mission, social engagement, and other criteria. All three students demonstrate an active civic position and meaningful involvement in volunteer activities. For Prytula Foundation USA, supporting education means investing in the people who will shape Ukraine’s future. By helping young Ukrainians continue their education, we aim to strengthen a generation of engaged, responsible, and capable leaders who will contribute to their communities and to Ukraine’s long-term resilience.

Through our Safe Communities Initiative, $81,710 in donor funds was directed to strengthen emergency response capacity across Ukraine. Continued attacks on Ukraine’s energy and telecommunications infrastructure cause power outages and communication disruptions, creating an ongoing need for reliable backup capacity. In March 2026, Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council approved comprehensive regional resilience plans to strengthen preparedness for continued threats to critical infrastructure. To help address this need, donor support funded: 80 Starlink Mini terminals — $31,680, providing independent satellite connectivity when conventional networks are disrupted; 50 laptops — $50,030, providing portable digital capacity for coordination, planning, logistics, reporting, and information management. Prytula Foundation USA has procured 5 Toyota Hilux Double Cab vehicles to support humanitarian teams delivering aid in regions where damaged roads and destroyed infrastructure make standard transport impossible. Toyota Hilux was chosen for its proven off-road reliability and durability under demanding field conditions. The vehicles are now deployed and actively used for transporting medical supplies, food, water, and other essential goods to frontline and hard-to-reach communities. Your support puts reliable vehicles in the hands of people who deliver aid where it's needed most.

With the support of our donors, Prytula Foundation U.S.A. has deployed critical field equipment to humanitarian teams operating in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions — areas under sustained missile and drone attacks, where power outages and damaged infrastructure make coordinated relief efforts exceptionally difficult. The deployment included 40 portable power stations (Oukitel P2001 Pro) to keep devices and communications running during blackouts; 50 tablets (Lenovo Tab One 4/64) for real-time needs assessments, logistics coordination, and field reporting; and 50 MicroSDXC 128GB memory cards for secure storage and transfer of field data. Together, this equipment ensures that humanitarian teams can operate continuously — even when the grid fails — reaching frontline and recently liberated communities with timely, accountable aid. The Prytula Foundation U.S.A. supported the purchase of a Rehatec Lasse Prone Stander for twin girls with cerebral palsy. The verticalizer provides essential support for safe, physiologically correct standing during daily rehabilitation. It helps ensure proper alignment of the hips and skeletal system, prevents secondary complications, and supports overall physical development. Regular use improves head control, muscle activation, cardiovascular and digestive function, as well as breathing and speech abilities, while enabling participation in daily life at eye level. It supports communication, cognitive development, and social interaction in a safe, upright position, easing daily caregiving, thereby enhancing overall quality of life for the family as well.
